Agency services are primarily assessment, community service and weekend work under corrections officers' supervision. Participants complete unpaid community service work to satisfy a court order.

Oswego County Correctional Facility
The Oswego County Jail-Based Cognitive Behavioral Intervention (CBI) Services Program will provide Thinking for a Change and Interactive Journaling to voluntary participants in the Oswego County Jail. This is in an effort to improve their understanding of how thoughts influence behaviors, and ultimately provide them with the skills needed to change both thinking and behavior. Consequently, this will improve their potential to remain law-abiding and reduce recidivism.

Oswego County Probation Department
This probation officer will provide intensive case management services to females under probation supervision in an effort to reduce their recidivism and successfully complete their probation sentence. The NYCOMPAS, Women's Risk and Needs Assessment (WRNA) and any other appropriate assessment will be utilized to identify needs, develop a comprehensive case plan and provide linkage to services. In addition, Interactive Journaling (Courage to Change and/or Trauma in Life) and Ready, Set, Work! will be provided to those who appear to be in need of these programs.
